Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Screeq — an applicant tracking system, HRMS, and talent intelligence platform (the "Service") operated by Screeq ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Workspace owners ("Customers") may invite team members and assign roles; each invited user must accept these Terms before using the Service.
2. Customer data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"), including job descriptions, candidate records, interview recordings and HR documents. We process Customer Data only to operate and improve the Service, in line with our Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Addendum (available on request).
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to discriminate unlawfully against candidates or employees.
- Upload candidate data without a lawful basis under applicable privacy law.
- Reverse engineer, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the Service without written agreement.
4. AI features
The Service uses third-party AI models for resume parsing, scoring and interview intelligence. Outputs are probabilistic and must be reviewed by a qualified human before any hiring decision. We do not guarantee AI accuracy and you remain responsible for all decisions made using AI output, including compliance with the EU AI Act and equivalent local laws.
5. Fees and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Trial plans convert to paid plans only with explicit upgrade. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information with the same care it uses for its own confidential information, and at minimum reasonable care. Customer Data is treated as confidential.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay fees. You may cancel your account at any time from workspace settings; Customer Data will be retained per the retention windows configured in your workspace, then deleted.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Screeq is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
