Interview Calibration

Process of aligning interviewers on scoring standards.

Calibration sessions compare scores across interviewers on the same candidates and adjust for drift. Without it, scoring rubrics drift apart within months and the structured interview format loses its predictive power.

The minimum effective dose: quarterly calibration meetings per interview loop, where 2–3 recent candidates are re-scored as a group and disagreements are surfaced. New interviewers shadow at least two debriefs before scoring solo.
