Hiring Funnel

Stages a candidate moves through, from application to hire.

Standard stages: applied → screened → interviewed → offered → hired. Tracking conversion rate at each stage is the foundation of recruiting analytics.

The most common diagnostic miss: time-in-stage. Pass-through rates can look healthy while candidates wait 14 days at 'screened' — the funnel doesn't break, the experience does.
