Time to Fill

Days from job opened (approved) to offer accepted.

Time to fill includes the upstream approval and posting time that time-to-hire excludes. It's a better operating metric for the whole hiring system.

The gap between time-to-fill and time-to-hire is your internal friction: approval cycles, JD writing, posting delay. Compressing it usually has a higher ROI than chasing more sourcing volume.
